Surface Developments wants to construct an eight-storey building near Tunney’s Pasture, reports the Ottawa Business Journal.
The proposed development would include 75 residential units and a mix of office and retail space on the ground floor. The site is located at 16-20 Hamilton Ave.
The project would also feature an underground parking lot with spaces for 63 vehicles as well as 40 bicycles. The plan also calls for about 2,250 sq. ft. of outdoor amenity space on the roof.
The developer has filed a site plan with the city. The building’s height of 26.2 metres exceeds the current limit of 20 metres for the site and would require a zoning amendment.
