While it may reside in a northern clime, come summertime Port Stanley is a thriving beach community. The town mixes the quaintness of a historic railroad town, including antique shops and museums, with a vibrant restaurant and pub scene.
Award-winning Wastell Homes has plans to expand that summer feeling year-round with a Floridian-inspired development community.
The community, called the Kokomo Beach Club, is to be styled like luxury gated communities the builders observed in Florida, complete with a pool, fitness centre, yoga studio, games room, pickleball court, and playground, among other amenities.
The 500 homes are also designed to have that coastal affect, with features like Bahama shutters and pastel exteriors, subject to owner preference.
Wastell Homes has won London Home Buildersโ Association (LHBA) Builder of the Year awards six times in the last decade, and been given the Holmes Approved Homes seal of approval.
The homes will be a mix of single detached and low-rise condominiums; a temporary sales office will open in Port Stanley before summer begins.
