Colliers Project Leaders selected as IO’s new project management service provider

Colliers Project Leaders has been selected as Infrastructure Ontario’s (IO) new project management service provider to take over the real estate portfolio of the Ontario Ministry of Infrastructure.

Colliers will be responsible for delivering various capital repair and ministry-funded projects across the province with values of up to $20 million.through the five-year Project Management Service Provider (PMSP) contract

 

Colliers will provide services including program management, project delivery, corporate support and technical services. The firm will also leverage its design-bid-build contract model for designers and contractors to deliver high-complexity projects from inception to final completion, including design, construction and commissioning.

 

Colliers will take over IO’s project management responsibilities for elements of the provincial government’s general real estate portfolio (GREP), which comprises 4,300 buildings and 150,000 acres of land in more than 362 municipalities across Ontario.

 

The GREP portfolio accommodates various ministry programs that serve the people of Ontario. Colliers was selected following a fair and competitive proposal process that IO launched in January, IO said in a Tuesday (Nov. 14) statement.
