Constructionlab Ltd. says it has created a student scholarship worth $1,500 over the first two years of a graduating high school senior student choosing a career in architecture, engineering or construction management and enrolled in a Canadian college or university. The scholarship pays out $750.00 per year to the awarded student for the first two years of study.

“We have been blessed to forge amazing partnerships with construction associations, corporate clients, and schools in Canada, and it is time for us to give back to the industry in a way that is beyond our annual support for Pathways to Education and Pencils of Promise,” Constructionlab president Derek Smith said in a statement.

Details for the qualifying criteria will be posted to the Constructionlab website by early October and an application deadline for a July 2021 payout has been set for early April 2021 and each year thereafter.

“We are inviting applicants through our association partners, and all channels of our business including Scholarships Canada to find candidates who are in need of our support, and we look forward to meeting and supporting our industry for a long time to come.”

Constructionlab provides construction and design industry learning and development services.
