Detail Of Services: The City of Ottawa, hereinafter referred to as the City, is seeking qualification submissions to provide professional engineering services to carry out an Environmental Assessment (EA) Study for the Huntmar Drive Widening and Stittsville Main Street Extension. The 2013 Transportation Master Plan (TMP) identifies the Huntmar Drive Widening and Stittsville Main Street Extension as part of the 2031 Affordable Network. A Municipal Class EA study is required for the Huntmar Drive Widening and Stittsville Main Street Extension to identify the right-of-way requirements allowing to prevent the corridors from development encroachments and to ensure coordination with the ongoing and planned land developments in the surrounding area of Kanata West and Stittsville. A protected corridor provides the opportunity to request the land be transferred to the City as a condition of development approval. The EA study will be conducted as a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) Schedule C in accordance with the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act.

The following work will be undertaken by others and is hereby excluded: .1 Supply of two [2] new AtoN towers; .2 Supply of three [3] new AtoN day beacon masts; .3 Design of foundations. Site is inaccessible by road and utilization of a suitable floating plan must be anticipated.
