On July 23, Everlast Group of Companies held a grand opening celebration for its new window and door warehouse and showroom in Thunder Bay.

The grand opening included a raffle in support of Habitat for Humanity. Over one hundred people attended to the event, held in the new showroom, and under tents in the yard, to raise over $3,000 for the cause.

Everlast has worked hard during their new location’s renovation to become part of the Thunder Bay community. President of Everlast Mike Bruno, who spearheaded the move north, has made donations to a Habitat for Humanity build in the community, even purchasing laptops for the children who will reside in the new home.

The company also attended a community baseball game the night before the grand opening, giving away waterbottles with the local Thunder Bay Border Cats logo, as well as Everlast’s, to the first hundred attendees to arrive.

Everlast has been supplying builders with product from its Toronto area location, but is hoping the warehouse will showcase some of the company’s more contemporary offerings. It purchased its new location from long-standing local window and door company A and R Ross in October of 2018. Everlast continues to provide some of the same siding and windows from PlyGem/Mitten from before their purchase of the facility.

The new showroom has been revamped, with new doors and windows, new siding, and a gallery of photos of local homes with Everlast windows.
