Ontario Construction News has started publishing weekly, as the province’s newest construction newspaper prepares to become a daily publication on May 1.

You can view the most recent issue with page turning software here.

“We’re gearing up to provide comprehensive and relevant construction industry content with a daily newspaper,” says publisher Mark Buckshon. “Right now, as we increase publishing frequency from monthly to weekly, and soon, daily, we’re setting up our systems and processes to manage the workflow and ensure that the news you receive is timely and useful for your business.”

In addition to several news articles, each issue of Ontario Construction News will contain a sampling of new project leads from DataBid.com and public tender/RFP announcements and offers.

When it starts daily publication on May 1, Ontario Construction News will be qualified under Ontario Construction Act regulations to accept certain mandatory certificate and notice advertisements. “We’ll begin accepting these ads through our online portal on April 24 at a cost significantly lower than advertisers have currently needed to pay in another publication — upwards of 50 per cent less,” he said.

Ontario Construction News will be attending the upcoming Ontario General Contractors Association (OGCA) Symposium on April 11 to 13 and will have current coverage of that event in upcoming issues.
