PCL Construction is enhancing its water damage prevention capabilities through a new partnership with Toronto-based Eddy Solutions.
The Canadian contractor says it will merge the in-house Job Site Insights smart construction platform with the water monitoring and leak mitigation technologies offered by Eddy.
“Water damage is one of the biggest risks to construction sites and property, causing about 60 percent of all real estate claims,” PCL’s CIO Mike Bryant said in a press release. “With combined expertise in IOT producing data-driven insights, PCL and Eddy Solutions will use game-changing technology to protect project sites from the increasing threat of water damage.”
