Mississauga-headquartered Stephenson’s Rental Services says it has appointed Rob Wilson, the company’s former vice-president of fleet services, to become the company’s chief operating officer (COO).

“This change will enable me to focus more of my attention on strategic growth opportunities outside of the day-to-day activities as we pull forward our plan to double the company once again, Guy Manuel, Stephenson’s president and chief executive officer (CEO) said in a statement. “This structure is a move that continues to amalgamate the role of both Sales and Operations into a cohesive team enabling quicker decision-making at the field level.”

The company says it is a “truly full-service Canadian construction tools and equipment rental provider”  with 39 Ontario and seven Alberta locations.
