MUNICIPALITY OF LAMBTON SHORES
TRUNK SANITARY SEWER AND ONTARIO
STREET RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT NO. 20148, CONTRACT NO. 1
SEALED TENDERS addressed to Mr. Nick Verhoeven, Engineering Specialist, Municipality of Lambton Shores, 9575 Port Franks Road, RR1 Thedford, ON, N0M 2N0, will be received until:
11:00:59 a.m. (local time), Wednesday, January 27, 2021
The work includes approximately:
9,000 m3 of earth excavation
5,500 tonnes of Granular A
13,400 tonnes of Granular B
2,200 tonnes of hot mix asphalt in 2021
1,000 tonnes of hot mix asphalt in 2022
2,400 m2 of concrete sidewalk
1,150 m of concrete curb and gutter
500 linear metres of 450 mm diameter sanitary sewer
700 linear metres of 300 mm to 750 mm diameter storm sewer
500 linear metres of 300 mm diameter watermain
3 jack and bore casing pipe installations as well as other work incidental
The contract generally involves the following work:
Ontario Street – full reconstruction including utilities from bridge north to Municipal limit; and,
Oak Street – new road structure from Ontario Street to Queens
The contract is divided into parts. The Municipality intends to at least complete the work on Ontario Street. The work on Oak Street will be assessed upon receipt of tenders, and may be deleted from the contract. The quantities listed above incorporate both parts.
Plans, specifications and tender forms may be obtained from the office of the undersigned after January 6, 2021 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $60.00, payable to B. M. Ross and Associates Limited. This fee includes all taxes.
A certified cheque or bid bond in the amount of $200,000.00 must accompany each bid. Lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
