Brock University Campus Hot & Chilled Water Upgrades

Detail Of Services: A comprehensive study of Brock University’s Campus distributed hot and chilled water systems was completed in 2020. This study provided recommendations to improve the overall operation and efficiency of the systems. This RFSQ represents prequalification for Mechanical Contractors to Bid on upcoming future implementation of the recommendations, which will include, but limited to, installation of new control valves, new flow meters, new pumps and required piping modifications to suit on various chilled and hot water systems located across the Main Campus. Work on the hot water system will generally be completed over the summer months while work on the chilled water systems will generally be completed over the winter months. A general Scope of Work Overview is presented in Appendix D. Phase 1 of the implementations is currently nearing completion. The Phase 2 package is currently under design and will be issued for bidding to the successful Respondents of this RFSQ in mid-June 2021. Phase 3 and other upcoming Phases will also be sent to the successful respondents, budget pending, ending December 2023.
