Detail Of Services: This second stage RFQ is being issued to prequalified vendors as identified in the Prequalification Notification Letter 2 for RFSQ No. 166985 issued July 17, 2020, by SSW and the Customer(s) to obtain Quotes from prequalified general contractors for Hospital Maglocks (ML) Infrastructure & Security Operations Centre (SOC) as part of the project. SSW is representing the Customer(s) as its Bid Administrator. The purpose of this construction project is to centralize security operations at Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care into one Security Operations Centre (SOC) in order to increase operational efficiency. Presently, security operations functions are split between two on-site locations. The first existing location is located at the Bathurst Street Entrance that houses the security supervisor’s office, hoteling desks and a separate area for the Security Badges to be administered for the overall Baycrest Campus. The second location is at the Khedive Street Entrance otherwise know as the communications desk. This shares two functions, one (1) it facilitates our incoming internal and external communications and two (2) also has a separate security function. We are looking to keep a majority of the communications functions in place as is at this location and looking to extract the security functions of this particular office to the new location. The newly proposed area for the new SOC is currently occupied by two change rooms. These will be demolished and separated from the existing pool area and be made into one new security operations center (SOC).Project Timeline:• Anticipated Contract Award – July 30, 2021• Estimated Project Start Date – Upon Contract Award• Substantial Performance – October 29, 2021• Total Completion – November 30, 2021
