Sheridan College Trafalgar C Wing & E Wing ETS Installation

Detail Of Services: This Invitation to Tender (the “ITT”) is an invitation by Sheridan College (“Sheridan”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for Installation of two (2) Energy Transfer Stations at Trafalgar Campus. Installations of Energy Transfer Station (ETS) in Trafalgar C-wing and E-wing is a project in line with Sheridan’s goal to upgrade the building infrastructure by updating the existing mechanical systems. The main purpose of the ETS in the building is the optimal efficiency of the entire thermal system which is to move thermal energy from one place to another and adapt the conditions from the primary (high-temperature) side to the secondary (low-temperature building) side requirements. With that goal in mind, ETS, in other words, is a coupling between DEC and heating loop on the secondary side. Installation of ETS in both C-wing and E-wing at Trafalgar campus will be helpful to achieve the maximum efficiency of the thermal system to create an energy-efficient mechanical system which in turn will upgrade the building infrastructure. Essentially, the college purchased two ETS units a few years ago; but unfortunately, due to COVID, the installation and final design comments were not carried forward. This project aims for the successful completion of design and installation for both ETS’s in order to maximize potential efficiencies in building services for our heating network in C-wing and E-wing.
