Guideway work has already started in certain sections as crews gear up for vehicle testing that will start later this year.

And construction continues at the MSF where crews have installed a majority of the track and continue to prepare the interior of the facility for the arrival of the light rail vehicles.
The completed MSF will include a main shop for vehicle repairs, car wash facility, material storage building, administration office and 122 parking spots for staff.
The Finch West Light Rail Transit (LRT) Project will extend 11 kilometres from the existing Finch West Subway at Finch Avenue West and Keele Street to the Humber College at Finch Avenue West and Highway 27.
It will serve the communities of Rexdale, Jane-Finch and Black Creek.
The maintenance and storage facility will be used to store the light rail vehicles (LRVs) and provide shops for service, repairs and inspection.
Located at 50 York Gate Boulevard, on the northwest side of Finch Avenue West, west of Jane Street, the 10,000 sq. metre facility with have capacity for 26 LRVs.
Tracks will run in both directions for LRV access (eastbound and westbound) and the facility is being designed and constructed to meet LEED Silver Certification and with a green roof.
