In the 1980’s Smith received a Civil Engineering degree from Queens University in Kingston, After accepting a position in Calgary, he eventually moved one province further west to BC where he was promoted from superintendent to manager of BC operations. From there, his career flourished into executive vice-president of EllisDon’s Canadian buildings group. Smith currently resides in Oakvlle and is looking forward to downloading small bits of wisdom to the next generation coming up in construction.
