Mississauga hosting virtual workshop on Lakeshore East Corridor study

An additional session of the Lakeshore East Corridor Study virtual community workshop will take place on Tuesday, May 11. This new workshop date is in addition to the existing dates of yesterday and today. The format and content is the same for all sessions. Participants can register for the date that suits them best.

The city is beginning a review of built form, height and density along the Lakeshore Road East Corridor in the Lakeview area. The goal of the study is to refine the policy framework that will guide future growth and a compatible form of new development in the area.

The study covers the frontage properties along Lakeshore Road East between Seneca Avenue and the Etobicoke Creek. The Lakeview Village Master Plan and the surrounding properties are not included in the study area, as these lands were part of the Inspiration Lakeview project.

Workshops take place today and Tues. May 11 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The goal of the study is to review the planning policy framework that will guide future development along the corridor.

The study covers the frontage properties along Lakeshore Road East between Seneca Avenue and Etobicoke Creek. The Lakeview Village Master Plan (former Ontario Power Generation site) is not part of this study as it is going through a separate planning application process.
