The Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA) says it is proceeding with its Intelligent Building Energy Management Systems research project and will be hosting an informational webinar about the initiative today (April 2).

The research project will “examine challenges and opportunities associated with intelligent buildings energy management systems,” CABA’s research prospectus says. “Using industry expert interviews and consumer surveys, the research will provide actionable data relevant to: the state of the market, key industry players business opportunities, technical barriers and opportunities, future market direction, issues, use-cases and industry recommendations. The final report is slated for publication in February 2021.”

“We are pleased that Harbor Research, Inc. was selected to conduct the ($130,000) project, and they will be hosting a webinar on April 2,” writes CABA president Ronald Zimmer.

“Open to both members and non-members, this webinar will provide information on the topic in general, as well as some details about the research. Anyone attending will receive a complimentary copy of the executive summary of CABA’s recently-completed ‘Monetization of Intelligent Buildings’ Research Report.”

You can register for the webinar between 1 and 2 p.m. EDT at this link: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_BPGOL680Q46r-WeLXs-0Ww.
