Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) has begun its search for a new executive director after Nick Franjic announced he will retire from the role he has held for 18 years.
Franjic made the announcement at the association’s 2025 annual general meeting. His retirement, planned for before the 2026 AGM, will cap more than three decades with the national organization.
During his tenure, the association achieved several milestones, including the purchase of its national office space and the expansion of its educational programs through the development of online courses.
With Franjic’s departure, the organization’s board has launched a formal search for a successor to lead the multi-disciplinary, non-profit association, which is involved in the specification, design, and management of construction projects.
The organization stated it is seeking a new leader to guide its next chapter and will be accepting applications for the position. Franjic will remain in his role over the coming year to support a smooth transition.
Further details about the executive director role and the search process are available on the CSC website.
