Detail Of Services: The intent of this RFP is to conduct a competitive process that will lead to the award of Consulting Engineering Services to complete the 2022 Bridge and Culvert Appraisals. The Municipality of Charlton and Dack and the Township of Chamberlain have partnered to conduct these required inspections to create a more attractive proposal and achieve economies of scale. In total the firm will be asked to inspect 9 culverts and 3 bridges which must be inspected in accordance with Ontario Regulation 104-97, and also 160-02 amending 104-97, under the direction of a professional engineer and in compliance with Ontario Structure Inspection Manual. To comply with Ontario Regulation 104-97 the Municipality of Charlton and Dack and the Township of Chamberlain wish to have the structural integrity, safety and condition of its bridges and culverts determined by having an inspection completed under the direction of a professional engineer in accordance with the Ontario Structure Inspection Manual. The report should include the condition of the structure, life expectancy of the asset and the estimated current value of the asset, the Bridge Condition Index which can be uploaded to the Municipal Data Works program. A full copy of these reports shall be made available in a digital format and a single copy of each shall be made in hard copy.

TCH Underground Garage Restoration Projects Prequalification

Detail Of Services: Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) is seeking a Vendor for the provision of construction services at 3725-3735 Dundas St. W.TCHC will be awarding all phases to the lowest total priced Proposal depending on TCHC budget availability and the contractor’s performance in the phased construction project . Work under this contract is to carry out repairs to isolated areas of underground parking garage, garage roof slab as well as foundation walls, drains garage enclosure, stairs, upgrade Drop off area, and upgrade garbage compound area. This work is categorized as Structural construction. The Work for 3725 & 3735 Dundas St W. is to be completed in three (3) phases, and the Proponent must bid on all phases. Only phase one (1) shall be awarded as it has received budgetary approval. Phases two (2) and phase three (3) are tentatively expected to be awarded and completed between the years of 2023 to 2024 pending budgetary availability and contractor performance. TCHC will use this RFPQ as a method to develop and maintain a list (roster) of Vendors who meet the minimum standards to be considered for the subsequent garage restoration projects listed in Appendix A.2 – List of Locations which will work in close collaboration with TCHC to execute for select locations. This prequalification process gives the Proponent an opportunity to demonstrate their team’s experience and capabilities through a set of rated criteria as set out in the RFPQ. Proponents will be evaluated based on their experience, staff qualifications and ability to deliver a high quality of services. All proponents which prequalify for the list (roster) must enter into a Roster Framework Agreement with TCHC (Appendix C).Subsequent Requests for Quotations (“RFQ”) will be requested from the list of prequalified Proponents for the various garage restoration projects listed as part of Appendix B.2, which TCHC anticipates will be throughout 2022 – 2024 as funding is approved.
