Team Ontario brought home 30 medals from the 2025 Skills Canada National Competition, held May 29–30 in Regina. The delegation of skilled trades and technology students earned 13 gold, nine silver, and eight bronze medals during the two-day event.
The team was honoured at the closing ceremony on May 31. In addition to the medal haul, Ontario competitor Noah Rittenhouse of Mohawk College received the RBC Best of Region Award for his performance in the CNC Machining (post-secondary) category.
“Advancing to the national level is a massive achievement on its own, and we congratulate all our competitors for their success,” said Skills Ontario CEO Ian Howcroft. “These young people have worked hard at developing their skills through programs like these, which are changing lives and inspiring leaders through skilled trades and technologies. The future of Ontario is in good hands.”
